MATHEMATICS CLASS

Important-looking,recondite,geeky and incomprehensible symbols filled the black board.He kept using impressive and intelligent-sounding words like "Mixed derivatives","Numerical Analogy","Functional Value of the Partial Derivative"...and so on and so forth.And I kept lapsing into day-dreams.

I snaped out of a reverie,lapsed into another one and returned agen to find him saying "so the conclusion is..." and i hurried to take down notes.If at all anything, if i write down the conclusion of whatever incomprehensible machinations he has been ranting about, then it will justify ,albeit partially ,my presence in the room.

The prof wrote down "u1^s+1=u0+h/2(k2*f2)". And immediately a crushing sense of fear and dread filled me. I didn't know the meaning of f2 and k2. The presence of k2 implied the presence of other k's like k3,k113 and k1134.

The possibilities were staggering.Each of these fiendish k's had a contribution to making the equation seem so demoniac to me.

My hands trembled ,my heart fluttered as my puny brain tried in vain to combat the multitude of k's and gave up.

I peacefully lapsed into another daydream involving myself and Natascha McElhone..
